Trip to the zoo

While Jory's mom Barb was here we went to visit the north carolina zoo in Asheboro. Very cool zoo, I've never been to one with such natural habitats. Here are some pictures and maybe a video.

Playing with easter toys

Easter!

Okay, so I haven't quite found the balance between posting things to the blog and going to school. Here are some long overdue pictures of the kids. These are Easter pictures. I took the kids to an easter egg hunt in Stallings park and they had fun. Although the eggs were empty and you turned them in for a bag of candy, it was still fun. We took a picture with Charlie the easter bunny at our local grocery store. You will notice only three children in the photo with Charlie because Aidan refused to join. He merely stood by with a look of disdain, hands on his hips and everything, so we had to make do without him.

We're 3!!

Well I can hardly believe my little boys are three. They had a nice quiet birthday, just some cupcakes and presents. None of the presents they got this year made any noise, thank you very much! Here are some pictures to share with you the turning of the three! We got them some lightning mcqueen pillows that were very cute but they were too busy zooming around to let me take a picture.

Monster Jam!

Well I don't know about any of you but I can't think of anything more romantic than monster trucks. So on Valentine's Day we all went to the Monster Jam. Here are some pictures. It took the boys a while to enjoy the show but once they did, they loved it! They especially loved the Monster Mutt. It was a truck with floppy ears, a big wagging tail and tongue. It was pretty cute.

Our creative Valentines

We decided to be a little more creative this Valentine's day. Caley made Irock valentines. They look like Ipods made from sweethearts and reese's peanut butter cups. Nathan made his teacher something special.

Caley's sporty

Caley has been participating in 5th grade after school intramurals. So far she has played deck ring tennis, indoor soccer and floor hockey. No pictures from soccer but here are a few from the other two.
