Making Gingerbread Cookies!

Every year the kids make gingerbread cookies. We had a really good time this year. Everyone was able to help and make their own cookie designs.

Halloween

Better late than never ;-) So this year we had a gypsy, Darth Vader and two vampires. We had a great time carving pumpkins and getting candy.

Great wolf lodge

Hey everyone, sorry for the delay. This summer we spent a night at the great wolf lodge. Which for those of you who don't see the commercials all the time, is a hotel that sports a huge indoor water park and you can only go to the water park if you stay in the hotel. So we went and everyone had a good time. I don't think I could have stayed anymore then one night or I would have had water coming out my ears. They did have a toddler area at the water park, or as Jory and I called it, "the I hate parents" section. I don't have any pictures of that because everything that squirted water in that section hit you right at face level. The kids were fine but the parents were constantly under siege.

We went exploring a while back and found a park called squirrel lake park near our house. Here are some picture from our excursion.

Beatin' the heat

Well as you all may guess summer in the south can get hot. So we have installed our own cooling system, here's some pictures.

More pics from Granma Barbs visit

Here are some pictures taken during Grandma Barb's visit. The one of Brady is him doing a little thing he likes to call, "Big Nose". I think you can see why. It cracks me up! Aidan is wearing a sweet hat of Uncle Andy's and the last is of the whole family. If you notice it looks as though I am a recent amputee but no need to worry my limbs are all intact as of the moment.

The Art Show

The kids school had an art show to display all of the children's work. Here are some pictures of their amazing artistic abilities. Caley's was in the display case if you look you can see hers. It's the bright green lizard with the swishing tail and bulging eyes.
