Gingerbread Cookies

Every year for christmas we make gingerbread cookies, decorate them and hang them on the tree. Here are some pictures from this holiday tradition. We had alot of fun!

Sumersaults are fun

The boys took some time to show off their acrobatic prowess. It is pretty cute and no one was injured which is always a plus. Hope you enjoy the cirque de Busch!

Nathan's 8!!

Well I can hardly believe it was eight years ago when, on a cold december day in Minnesota, I went to the hospital to bring my baby boy Nathan into this world. We had a small birthday affair just cake, presents, pizza and ice cream,not in that order. What more could a boy ask for? He recieved many lovely presents, thanks to you all. Here are some photos of him on his big day. There's also a picture of him decorating his cake, you'll notice the boys very eager to help but kept at bay. Notice the stud muffin in his new outfit from grandma and grandpa.

Our Thanksgiving!

Well we started out in Wilmington at the parents house for a lovely dinner. We all ate too much, or atleast I did. Don't worry, Buddy offered to help with the dishes. Jory, the boys, buddy and I then headed for our hotel room. We met back up the next morning to make the trek up to Chapel Hill to visit with Grammy, Papa, Martha and Ian. We had a lovely time and Buddy was a very big hit. Aidan declined to have his picture taken, so you will only see a few pictures with him in them. He's in the kitchen with Nathan and then punching Nathan in the face. The boys felt it was their duty, Brady especially, to make sure Papa and Uncle Ed stayed awake. So everytime they dozed off Brady would poke them in the knee and say,"ding, ding" it was really quite hillarious. Martha I included a picture for you to see how Buddy rides in the car. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving as well. As a friend of mine once said, "A good time was had by all".

Fun with Fall

Well the leaves fell off of our trees last week, so the kids decided it was time to rake them up and run through them. Here are some pictures and a video, I especially liked when Nathan jumped over Buddy!

Halloween!

Well it was finally Halloween. We have been making Caley and Nathan's costumes for a while now and I was quite pleased with the results. Caley was a little skeptical of my vision but she quickly changed her mind when she saw everyone's reactions. It was a great night we took the little boys out with all the kids up our street and they had a great time trick or treating, they are now addicted to candy. Then we left the little ones at home and I , caley and nathan went out to get more candy. They gave up pretty quickly to my surprise, mostly because Caley had to go to the bathroom. We did find a few design flaws in our costumes that will have to be addressed when we design next years costumes but overall we were quite sucessfull. Hope you aren't too scared by our costumes. Beware of the trick or treaters skulking in the streets. I would have had more pictures but my camera was giving me a hard time.
