a visit to grandma and granpa

This weekend we went to visit Grandma and Grandpa. We went school shopping since it was tax free weekend. I also got to leave the kids for their first sleep over at Grandma and Grandpa's. All went well and excitedly we can do it again sometime. Jory and I went out to eat at Ruth's chris steakhouse. It was our first date in atleast a year and it was really great! Thanks Mom and Dad! Here are some picture from a trip a month or so ago. I haven't been taking that many pictures but now you can enjoy these for a while. The trouble with blue sand!

We were given a little turtle sandbox last weekend. So Jory went to buy sand for it. He went to walmart and all he could find was crayola blue sand. It is just sand that is colored blue. So we thought this will probably be fun for the boys. Well they love playing in their sandbox but the other day Aidan wanted a shovel Brady had. So Brady not wanting to give him the shovel poured sand on his head. Normally not a big deal but this sand left a lasting impression. Don't worry it's not permanent but we did have to go get in the bath. Hope you find it as entertaining as we did.

A fun fourth!

Hello everyone. I hope you all had an enjoyable fourth of july. We had a good time. Jory and I started a water balloon fight with the kids. Caley got me pretty good and then Caley and Nathan had a water fight of their own, I caught it on video so you can enjoy it. Then we all had some drumsticks(ice cream cones) on the back swing. We bought the little fireworks at the walmart so we could do some of our own fireworks for the first time. Brady liked them and clapped after everytime until they started to make the whistling noise and popping. Aidan immediately ran into the house when Jory started lighting fireworks and watched tv in Caley's room until it was over. Over all we all had a lovely time, except for Buddy who accidently got left in the garage all night because he was so scared he cowered in there and I didn't realize until I followed the whining to the garage door in the morning. Poor Buddy! He seems to have survived his ordeal but is still a big scaredy cat. Love to you all!

Weekend at Grandma and Grandma's!

Ha ha! I don't know if you all know but the boys have taken to calling grandma & grandpa grandma & grandma. They are being quite stubborn about it. I say,"can you say grandpa" so they say,"grandma". It is too cute to get too upset. Anyway we went to visit grandma and grandpa last weekend. We went to the beach, the pool and the mall. We had a lovely time and I got my haircut. I think it's pretty great and when I take a picture of it I'll show you. We went on the carousel at the mall and you'll notice there's a picture of all the kids on an animal except for Aidan. He for some reason got quite upset and I finally coaxed him into a tea cup. He did decide to spin us so that's why there's no picture of he and I. While we were there Aidan managed to put aside a little time to do his workout. You'll notice he does it shirtless so as to show his muscles to the best advantage! HAHA! Anyway, sorry it has taken me so long to add more to my blog and I hope you are all doing great. Love to you all!

Jory went to D.C.

As many of you know Jory went to D.C. for a convention. He had a good time seeing the sights. Ofcourse we wish we could have gone together but maybe next time. Here are some pictures he took while he was there.

We love chocolate pudding or we have goatees!

Caley made some fudge and mint chocolate chip pudding for dessert last night and the boys really seemed to enjoy themselves. I'm not sure if they actually ate any but needless to say it was bath time after this treat! Oh yeah Aidan is in the gray and Brady's in the red.

My birthday!

I want to thank everyone for their calls and cards on my 28th birthday! It was so nice to talk to everyone and get the cards. I had a lovely birthday, the kids sent me flowers and Jory brought me home an ice cream cake that was very delicious! Here's a picture of the boys taking a nap on their mommy, me.
