Getting to know Nathan

Hello everyone, before school starts I was giving Nathan a haircut. I usually give him a mohawk first and then cut it off. Well this time I kept it on, so we could show Jory. He has become quite attached to it so I took some pictures of it. I also did a little interview with Nathan I hope you enjoy getting to know Nathan.

Downhill Races

Here's a video of Aidan and Brady doing their favorite outdoor activity. They wait for me to say,"ready, set, go" Then they race down the hill.

The Barbie Sombrero!

One day Aidan came downstairs wearing a barbie sombrero. It was so funny we took pictures of a few people wearing the sombrero!

I love you honey!

The boys were doing this adorable thing. Whenever they make me exasperated I always say,"Honey" in the tone that says oh man. So Aidan started copying me. Ofcourse everytime I wanted to catch them saying this they wouldn't. So here's Jory coaxing Aidan to say I love you honey, you have to be patient he says it at the very end. Then I'll put a funny video of Jory chasing the boys. They love to taunt him to chase them by saying nanny nanny boo boo and shaking their butts at him. It's pretty funny, enjoy!

We went to Carowinds!

Well I finally took the kids to their first amusement park. It was just Caley, Nathan and I. They rode their first rollercoasters. Nathan was up to ride everything, and if he didn't like it afterward he would say to me,"Mom we don't ever have to ride this one again, right?". Caley was a little tougher to convince, she would either love it or hate it, once she didn't go on at all. Someday I suppose I'll be like other parents who have their kids talk them into going on rides and not the other way around. They were too small to go on some of the big rollercoasters but Caley wasn't too broken up about it. I didn't bring my camera but I did take some pictures on my camera phone. Oh yeah Carowinds is actually on the border of north and south carolina so in one of the pictures you can see Nathan is in south carolina and Caley is in north carolina. They thought that was pretty cool.

Hello everyone!

We have been busy the last few days. Jory took a couple days off work, eventhough he had to go in for a little bit, we went bowling . The boys and everyone had a great time bowling. They were very cute, especially their little bowling shoes. I recorded when they were bowling, they had this ramp and Jory put their ball on it and they would push it down. Later they would carry their own ball to the ramp but my batteries died by then. I took video of everyone bowling. Hope you enjoy.

a visit to grandma and granpa

This weekend we went to visit Grandma and Grandpa. We went school shopping since it was tax free weekend. I also got to leave the kids for their first sleep over at Grandma and Grandpa's. All went well and excitedly we can do it again sometime. Jory and I went out to eat at Ruth's chris steakhouse. It was our first date in atleast a year and it was really great! Thanks Mom and Dad! Here are some picture from a trip a month or so ago. I haven't been taking that many pictures but now you can enjoy these for a while. Oh yeah and I'm very excited to keep up with what Karen's doing on her new blog! Love to you all!
